ZNC modules
4  337 {{tagitem.name}}
Hi,

Newby questions:

1) Is it possible to install any of the ZNC Modules with the ZNC Package? Specifically the Push module.

2) Is it possible to search this forum as there is a high probability that most of my questions have probably been asked and answered by others in the past.

Thanks

CG
Yes you are allowed to install modules for znc locally on your shell.

Hi,

Thanks so much for your quick response. I have been strugeling for several hours to figure out how to compile and install push.cpp. I used wget to download the file into my shell and I am able to see it when typing "dir" but I am unable to compile. I assume I have to move it to another directory before compiling but I am not sure

Although I am a newby I was able to successfully get ZNC and push installed on my own server several months ago I would now like to run those on xshellz instead. Can you please point me to a tutorial or some sort of instructions that are specific to xshellz? I have spent several hours searching but can not find anything helpful.

Thank you

CG

Sorry- I should have mentioned that when I run "znc-buildmod push.cpp" I receive the follwing:

Building "push.so" for ZNC 1.6.1... cc1plus: fatal error: znc/zncconfig.h: No such file or directory compilation terminated.
