access denied / xShellz

Hello,
Whenever I pull up the free shell via Putty, I type in a username, which it seems to take fine, and then I type my password and it says access denied. I realize it is case sensitive and have entered it again several times with no success. What am I missing?

Maybe you have entered the wrong username or hostname? Please provide full screenshot of what you are doing, except for password. If you are still unable to access it, open a ticket.

Try changing shell password via xPanel and try to login again.

I'm having the same problem. Also when trying to change the password via xPanel it says "Error! Something went wrong." when saving. When reloading the page it shows the new password though, but I'm still not able to login (with old or new password).
