We're moving to a new home.
To keep things running smoothly and securely, shell access will be restricted on the new server to a specific set of people. This change allows us to launch a faster IRC bouncer provisioning system and better protect the community from abuse.
Simply open a ticket to request free shell access. Do not remove your existing shell!

cuerti, I also get kicked out after entering the password successfully. It doesn't kick me out after entering the wrong password

Are you getting "There were too many logins for user" message? If so, you are allowed 1 ssh conneciton per user.

Yes, something is going on as when you connect once and even after logout , start showing Too many logins.

Needs investigating.

It is good not to try multiple times everyone since it's resolved as no need to flood the server with connections, I assume.

hmm, freeport is no longer working. I started znc with existing config and port but when trying to connect the connection is reset by peer. When this happened in the past I've solved it by requesting a new port with freeport and adding that to znc. I'm writing just to check if anyone else experienced this.
