Free Server Migration done - request access here / xShellz

We're moving to a new home.
To keep things running smoothly and securely, shell access will be restricted on the new server to a specific set of people. This change allows us to launch a faster IRC bouncer provisioning system and better protect the community from abuse.
Simply open a ticket to request free shell access. Do not remove your existing shell!

Will the files be available on the new server? What is the status of the backup?

You said I could ask for the backup. I requested it two days ago but haven't received a reply yet.

Read the top message, server will be available at 10th of Feb with limited shell access. You will be able to use znc/irc bouncers just fine.

Sure, they will be trusted people who used our shell service for many years, which we can guarantee they won't abuse our free system.

Will the new server have a text browser (Lynx) and an IRC client (Weechat) as the old server did?

If one is allowed a shell on the new server, will one's files from the old server be migrated to the new server? If not, why not?

Good news, server is migrated and all people who opened a ticket and went through our review process are having their shell access again. Feel free to backup your files or continue using our free shell service.
